Under a leafy canopy of ebony trees, six luxurious stone cottages grace the banks of the Mabrak River. As one of only 12 guests, you feel instantly at home in this quiet retreat, where classic interiors enfold guests in quiet style and elegance. Generous private plunge pools and shady decks look out onto the dry riverbed. Large, welcoming sofas and African sculptures fill the gracious guest areas. Dine under the ancient jackalberry tree where skilled chefs serve delicious meals or steal away for an intimate dinner in the well-stocked wine cellar.

The main lodge, resplendent with deep couches and contemporary African accents spills onto the cool veranda and offers views of the wilderness beyond. A welcoming ambience of laid back luxury creates a place of conversation and laughter, while the extensive library of books accommodates those more inclined to quieter contemplation. Six exquisite thatched suites grace the banks of the riverbed. The spacious accommodation with private plunge pools and interiors epitomise romance, with canopies of mosquito nets and beautiful bathrooms. Each suite offers a private view of the riverbed, seamlessly integrating the grandeur of nature and elegance of décor.

Activities & Excursions

Reputed to be one of Africa’s finest safari destinations, the Sabi Sand Game Reserve is home to Dulini. The 65 000ha Sabi Sand Reserve shares a common 50km unfenced boundary with the Kruger National Park to the east. Two perennial rivers, the Sabi and Sand Rivers sustain the diverse fauna and flora of the area, which enjoys one of the highest and most bio-diverse populations of any reserve in Africa. The Dulini Collection presents the signature safari experience in the company of expert guides and in the comfort of exclusive six-seater game viewers. With no boundary fences between the Sabi Sand and the Kruger National Park, a great diversity of wildlife is found here, including the Big Five: Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Buffalo and Rhino. Our rangers strive to give guests an interpretative wildlife experience in which nature speaks louder than they do. All our rangers and trackers are seasoned field guides with the finest qualifications in the industry. By allowing the animals to take centre stage, they choreograph a wildlife adventure which offers far more than tracking the Big Five. Taking the time to explore some of the lesser-known delights and absorb the landscape and atmosphere are all part of their script to win you with their passion for conservation.
